The Professional Side
Dr. Stephanie Catalano Pivec is a dedicated dentist with a passion for serving others and helping people achieve a better lifestyle through quality dental care. Originally from Valencia, Venezuela, Dr. Catalano Pivec’s journey has been shaped by discipline, leadership, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence.
Dr. Catalano Pivec earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Boston University’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, graduating with High Honors. Her dedication to excellence was further recognized through her nomination for the Treatment Planning Award. Her areas of clinical interest include periodontology, endodontics, and oral surgery.
Before entering dentistry, Dr. Catalano Pivec worked as a store manager, which was her first professional job. This experience taught her valuable lessons in customer service and leadership, including how to lead people of different ages, when to take charge, and when to support those around her.
Her journey into dentistry began with a role as a dental assistant at Dr. Troxel Restorative Smiles, where she developed an appreciation for teamwork and excellence. She later worked at Sage Dental, where she learned the importance of a great team and was reminded, in a humbling way, that “it takes a village.”
Dr. Catalano Pivec is committed to continuing her education and expanding her clinical knowledge. Her advanced training includes:

She is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Florida Dental Association (FDA), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID).
Dr. Catalano Pivec believes in helping others have a better lifestyle and brings a warm personality and genuine passion for serving others to her approach to dentistry. Her own experience of moving to a different country in pursuit of a better life taught her that, with discipline and a clear plan, dreams can become a day-to-day reality. That perspective continues to shape her approach to her career and the people she serves.
The Personal Side
Dr. Catalano Pivec is married and a Navy wife. She does not have children but shares her home with a beautiful Siamese cat.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys running, watching movies, and baking. She is a native Spanish speaker and also speaks Italian and Portuguese at an A1 level.
Her journey from Valencia, Venezuela, to pursuing her dreams in a different country has been an important part of who she is today. Her experiences have shaped her appreciation for discipline, perseverance, teamwork, and the opportunity to help others live better lives.
