With 40 years of private practice experience, Dr. Rod Woodhead is a cornerstone of our clinical team, bringing a wealth of expertise and a compassionate approach to patient care. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Buffalo and has dedicated his career to clinical excellence, a commitment recognized by the 2022 Award for Excellence in Dentistry.
Dr. Woodhead’s distinguished professional history includes serving as the regional endodontic provider for the Florida Department of Corrections and acting as a “Strike Team Lead” for mobile surgical units. These roles highlight his ability to handle complex clinical challenges with precision and leadership, ensuring that every patient receives the highest standard of surgical care.

Dr. Woodhead believes that advanced dentistry should be as comfortable as it is precise. By utilizing an all-digital workflow, he ensures high-precision results for even the most complex procedures. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Woodhead is a lifelong athlete with a strong background in competitive swimming and lifeguarding. Above all, he is devoted to his family; he has been married to his wife, Linh, for 39 years, and they cherish spending time with their three children and a growing number of grandchildren.
