Dr. Roxana Cabrera
The Professional Side
Dr. Roxana Cabrera brings together exceptional clinical training and a genuine passion for helping patients feel comfortable, heard, and confident in their care.
Originally from Camagüey, Cuba, Dr. Cabrera earned her B.S. in Biology with a minor in Anthropology from the University of Florida before graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Florida College of Dentistry, ranking among the top four students in her class of 95.
During dental school, she was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), the national dental honor society, and received several clinical honors, including awards for excellence in surgical extractions, periodontology, and overall clinical production and treatment completed.
Dr. Cabrera enjoys many aspects of comprehensive dentistry, with particular interests in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, oral surgery, prosthodontics, and implant dentistry. She has also pursued advanced education in veneers, aesthetic dentistry, implant placement, and nitrous oxide sedation.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Cabrera believes excellent dentistry begins with trust. She takes time to listen, understand each patient’s concerns, and involve them in their treatment decisions so they feel confident every step of the way.
The Personal Side
Dr. Cabrera’s compassion is deeply rooted in her own story. After moving to the United States from Cuba with her family, she watched her parents rebuild their lives through hard work, humility, and perseverance. Their example shaped the way she approaches both life and patient care—with patience, respect, and an appreciation for everyone’s individual journey.
Outside the office, Dr. Cabrera enjoys spending time with her family and her cat, Leo. You’ll often find her outdoors hiking, kayaking, enjoying a beach picnic, or stargazing at Paynes Prairie. She also loves traveling, experiencing different cultures, and discovering new foods.
Giving back remains an important part of her life. She volunteers with FreeDOM Clinic, providing dental care to community members who may otherwise have limited access to treatment.
For Dr. Cabrera, dentistry is ultimately about people. Her goal is simple: to help every patient feel welcomed, understood, and confident in their smile.
