The Professional Side
Dr. Claudia Arias is a highly skilled and compassionate general dentist dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered care. Originally from Camagüey, Cuba, Dr. Arias moved to the United States as a teenager. Her journey in dentistry began as a dental assistant, where she discovered her passion for both the profession and the meaningful relationships she built with patients. That experience ultimately inspired her to become a dentist.
Dr. Arias graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Florida State College at Jacksonville before earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Her clinical precision and integrity earned her induction into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society. She has also received recognition for her work in operative dentistry and prosthodontics, with a particular appreciation for creating natural-looking, beautiful results.
Committed to ensuring a comfortable experience for every patient, Dr. Arias is certified in Nitrous Oxide Sedation, allowing her to help patients who experience dental anxiety feel more relaxed during their visits. Her clinical expertise, attention to detail, and appreciation for the artistic side of dentistry allow her to provide care that is both precise and natural-looking.
Dr. Arias believes dentistry is about much more than treating teeth. Her practice philosophy is rooted in empathy, education, and clear communication. She takes the time to listen to each patient’s concerns, explain her findings, and discuss treatment options so patients feel confident making decisions about their oral health. She never wants patients to feel rushed, embarrassed, or uncomfortable asking questions.
Having worked as a dental assistant before becoming a dentist, Dr. Arias understands every part of the patient experience—from the details that go into creating a smooth appointment to the emotions patients may experience while sitting in the dental chair. Her compassionate approach is especially meaningful for patients who arrive feeling nervous or self-conscious.
Her commitment to service extends beyond the dental office. Through her volunteer work at the FreeDOM Clinic, where she provided essential dental care to those in need, Dr. Arias strengthened her belief that oral health plays an important role in a person’s dignity, confidence, and overall well-being.

Dr. Arias is best known for her warmth, compassion, and genuine ability to make patients feel heard, respected, and cared for. She is a devoted wife and family-oriented person who loves spending time with her husband, three younger siblings, family, and friends.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Arias enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and relaxing at home. She has developed a passion for running and also enjoys drawing and reading classic literature. Her love of art extends beyond dentistry—if she weren’t a dentist, she says she would probably pursue a creative career, most likely in oil painting.
Born and raised in Cuba before moving to the United States as a teenager, Dr. Arias’s personal journey has shaped the way she views people, relationships, and the importance of making everyone feel welcome.
