Dr. William E. Smith, DDS, MS, is a caring and skilled endodontist and a leader in the United States Army. He prides himself on delivering high-quality treatment using modern and cutting-edge dental technology.

Dr. Smith received his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Mathematics from Alabama A&M University and attended Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, TN. While matriculating in dental school, he was commissioned as an officer with the United States Army. Following dental school, he served as an Active Duty General Dentist for three years. With a commitment to providing more specialized, high-quality treatment for his patients, Dr. Smith transitioned to the U.S. Army reserves to accept a position at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, OH, where he trained diligently for two additional years to become an endodontist. He still proudly serves his country in the U.S. Army Reserves and now practices the full scope of endodontics.

Dr. Smith focuses on providing a positive, comforting patient experience while utilizing the latest technology. He believes that the principle for successful treatment outcomes is combining integrity, compassion, expertise, technology, and collaboration with referring dentists, all of which patients will receive under his care.
