Dr. Tony Farha

The Professional Side

Dr. Farha completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Business Science at Wichita State University and graduated with honors from New York University College of Dentistry. He completed his general and surgical residency training at the Dwight D. Eisenhower VA Hospital, where he received extensive training in internal medicine and advanced oral surgical procedures, including impacted wisdom teeth, dental implants, and bone grafting. Dr. Farha furthered his implant training by completing The Maxi Course.

Dr. Farha showed a great interest in oral pathology research, receiving the Dean’s Grant in dental research for work on identifying and differentiating several oral neoplasms (oral cancers) via immuno-staining techniques. He also had the privilege of lecturing to his fellow physicians at the VA center on systemic diseases and their reflections on the oral cavity.

An accomplished dental surgeon, Dr. Farha introduced mini dental implants (MDI) to the northeast USA and internally as a solution to an ill-fitting dental prosthesis. He has trained and certified over 450 dentists in mini implant treatment and is a Key Opinion Leader for the IMTEC Corporation.

Dr. Farha’s work on mini dental implants was featured twice on ABC News and FOX News New York. His peers voted him one of the 2010 Top Dental Speakers on dentallearning.net.

Dr. Farha is an associate fellow of the prestigious American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), a feat that culminates three years of testing and case presentations in implant proficiency.  He has received his Certificate of Master in Implant Dentistry from the International Dental Implant Academy.

Out of the office, Dr. Farha enjoys lifting weights and spending time with his grown children.
