Dr. Daniel Valiente

The Professional Side

Born in Cuba and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Dr. Valiente has always been driven by a genuine desire to help others. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Central Florida, earning a degree in Health Science before attending NOVA Southeastern University, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). During dental school, he gravitated toward diagnostics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery—subjects that allowed him to combine problem-solving with patient-centered care.

While at NOVA, Dr. Valiente worked as a tutor for dental students, specializing in prosthodontics, complete and partial dentures, and treatment planning for complex restorative cases. This experience strengthened his communication skills and taught him the value of patience, empathy, and clear explanation—qualities that now define his approach to dentistry. Teaching also sharpened his diagnostic skills and helped him become more adaptable to different learning and communication styles.
A formative moment in his journey occurred while assisting his brother during the treatment of a patient suffering from a severe abscess. Witnessing the patient’s transformation from intense pain to immediate relief reaffirmed the profound impact dentistry can have on a person’s life. This experience further fueled his commitment to providing compassionate, life-changing care.

Known among peers, patients, and the community for his compassion and his dedication to going above and beyond, Dr. Valiente continues to grow his clinical expertise. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association. He has completed the Engel Institute dental implant training and holds certification in nitrous oxide sedation from NOVA Southeastern University.
